General Association Terms and Conditions (GIC) of the AI Finance Association Europe

If you become a member of the AI Finance Association Europe or take part in our events, the following General Association Terms and Conditions (GIC) apply.

Change of address

Please inform us immediately of any address changes to avoid unnecessary costs and misunderstandings. Address changes can be easily made via our member portal.

Note: For data protection reasons, address changes cannot be made over the phone. Changes by email must be sent from an email address that we already have on file. Otherwise, written notification is required, along with proof of identity (copy of passport or ID card). Alternatively, transmission via “secure electronic signature” is possible.

Membership types and cancellation​

Semi-annual and annual memberships

Semi-annual and annual memberships are binding for the selected period and can only be canceled after they have expired. The termination must be submitted in writing to the Executive Board at least one month before the membership expires. If no notice of termination is given, the membership will automatically end at the end of the selected period and will not be automatically extended.

Funding contributions

Contributions are voluntary financial support for the purpose of the association and serve to support the association's activities. They cannot be reclaimed as they are earmarked contributions. By paying a funding contribution, members declare their agreement to these conditions.

Extension of membership

Memberships in the AI Finance Association Europe do not renew automatically. Members who wish to continue their membership must actively indicate this by registering again or renewing.

Payment methods

We offer different payment options depending on the offer or service:

Credit card (VISA, MasterCard - only for online payments)

Maestro debit card (for online payments only)

Online banking

Online payments are processed via our external payment service provider PayPal or Stripe. If you have any questions about your payment, please contact info@finance-ae.eu.

Prices and shipping costs

The prices for our services are current daily and are valid until revoked.

We charge a flat shipping fee for shipping physical products. The exact costs depend on the total weight of the order and will be displayed to you during the ordering process.

Our invoices do not include VAT, as the AI Finance Association Europe is exempt from VAT as a non-profit association.

Payment deadline

Please pay the invoices immediately upon receipt. A cash discount is not provided.

Data protection​

You can find the data protection declaration on our website. It provides information about the processing of your personal data by the AI Finance Association Europe.

Calendar Entries

  1. Thematic Consistency: All events must be thematically consistent with the goals and interests of AI-Fäe.org. Events should offer relevant content that contributes to the fostering and exchange within the community.

  2. Disclaimer: We as an organization do not assume any liability for the accuracy of the lectures or their links listed in the calendar. The responsibility for the content of the event lies solely with the organizer.

  3. Membership Requirement: The organizer must be a member of the Membership Community Plus. This ensures that only high-quality events are posted that meet the standards and expectations of our community.

Blog post

Thematic consistency: All information created by users in the blog must be thematically consistent with the content of AI-Fäe.org. The content should be relevant and make a meaningful contribution to the interests of the community.

Prohibited Content: The following types of content are strictly prohibited in the blog area and will result in deletion and possible exclusion of the member:

  • Spam
  • Wrong information
  • Misleading content
  • Illegal competition
  • Antisocial entries
  • Issues that are inconsistent with human rights
  • Insults and insults
  • Direct market advertising

Membership Requirement: Only Membership Community Plus members and authorized bloggers may post to the blog. This ensures the quality and relevance of the content.

Disclaimer: We as an association assume no liability for the content created by users in the blog. Responsibility for the accuracy and legality of the contributions lies solely with the respective authors. We also assume no liability for shared media content and copyright information. Responsibility for copyright compliance lies with the users who share the content.

Terms and Conditions for Software Developers and AI Finance Association Europe

1. Preamble

The AI Finance Association Europe (“the Association”) provides a platform for software developers to test and further develop their systems, tools, indicators and bots. The Association ensures that the source code provided is not made publicly available and is compiled and protected using the latest methods. This ensures that developers can safely develop their work further. The Association supports members in marketing the systems.

2. Subject matter of the contract

These terms and conditions govern the cooperation between the AI Finance Association Europe and the software developers (“Developers”) who make their products and services available to the Association’s members.

3. Membership and access to services

3.1 Only registered members of the association have access to the software solutions offered.

3.2 Membership in the association is a prerequisite for using the tools, indicators and systems provided.

4. Rights and obligations of the developer

4.1 The developer provides the software products including the source code to the association.

4.2 The developer guarantees that the software products are free from third-party rights and do not infringe any existing patents or copyrights.

4.3 The developer remains the owner of the software and retains the right to further develop it.

5. Protection of the source code

5.1 The association undertakes to treat the source code provided as confidential and not to pass it on to third parties.

5.2 The association uses the source code exclusively for internal evaluation and further development in accordance with the latest security standards.

6. Use of the software by club members

6.1 The software products are made available to the association members exclusively for testing and evaluation purposes.

6.2 Commercial use of the software by club members is not permitted without the express consent of the developer.

7. Marketing of the systems

7.1 The association supports the developer in the marketing and promotion of the software products.

7.2 Marketing and advertising measures are carried out in consultation with the developer.

8. Liability and warranty

8.1 The developer is liable for the proper functioning of the software products provided and guarantees that they are error-free within the scope of normal use.

8.2 The association is not liable for damages resulting from the use of the software products, unless these are due to gross negligence or intent on the part of the association.

9. Termination of cooperation

9.1 Both parties may terminate the cooperation with 30 days’ notice in writing.

9.2 Upon termination of the cooperation, the Association undertakes to delete all copies of the source code and to stop using the software products.

10. Confidentiality

10.1 Both parties undertake to keep all confidential information exchanged within the framework of the cooperation secret and not to pass it on to third parties.

10.2 This obligation shall remain in effect even after termination of the cooperation.

11. Final provisions

11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by European Union law.

11.2 The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Vienna, Austria.

11.3 Austrian association law and the corresponding statutory provisions apply.
