Lech Leszek Downarowicz
President AI Finance Association Europe
Lech Leszek Downarowicz has a lifelong passion for computer science, which began in his youth with the Commodore 64 and extended over the years to more complex systems such as the IBM AS400. Since 1993 he has been fascinated by the stock market. In the early years of his stock market career, day trading was not as popular or widespread as it is today, and the offerings available in the market were very limited.
Lech quickly realized that it was not individual traders but rather large systems and investment firms that moved the markets. He used this insight to develop trading systems for various companies. Over time, such systems became more accessible to end users, but he noticed that many of these systems were not developed by professionals or could not be further developed due to financial constraints.
Through his contacts in the stock market and in the area of automatic trading, Lech decided to found an association to bring the modern type of trading closer to end consumers and to educate them further. In today's world, when artificial intelligence offers increasingly complex but also more effective solutions, it is possible to capitalize on the markets. Lech firmly believes that knowledge and a strong community of members are essential variables to achieve this goal. The AI Finance Association Europe, which he founded, plays a central role in this by providing the latest technologies and educational resources to help its members succeed.
