Trading Depot Overview - My experiences from the last trading week 22.06.2024

Depot Review

The week before last there was no trading depot overview due to my vacation. In the week before last there were no changes in the portfolio holdings. In the last trading week things looked different. The portfolio performance including all book profits and losses is now at +40.10% since the portfolio was opened on December 1st, 2023.

Trades executed

Last week, very few trades were executed. In the week before last, Steel Dynamics and McCormick were executed as short positions. This week, a short order was placed on gold, but it was stopped out at a loss on the same day. Finally, I took a medium-term short position on the Dow Jones and a long position on the Bund future, which is also planned to be held for several weeks.

Planned procedure

The background is still the current financial market phase, which in my opinion seems very indecisive. While some indices are reaching new highs, others are fighting to avoid slipping into a major correction. I will largely be on the lookout for short positions - especially a position on the DAX.
