Trading Depot Overview - My experiences from the last trading week 22.09.2024
Depot review
Due to my vacation in the week before last, during which no trades were opened or closed, I am looking at the past two weeks in terms of portfolio performance. The performance also decreased by 0.52%. Including all open book profits and losses, the portfolio has been at 40.29% since opening on December 1, 2024.
Orders executed
Last week, however, there were a few trades. These included a long position on K+S and Knorr-Bremse. A short position was also opened on Siltronic and one on Avolta. The long position on Euronext was stopped out at a plus. A long position on Wheaton Precious Metals was stopped out at a minus on the day of recording, as was the long position on gold. In addition, a medium-term short position on Brent Crude Oil was also executed.
Planned approach
This week it will be important how the financial markets decide in the long term. A breakout to new record highs could further fuel the markets and drive them upwards. To this end, I will continue to open long positions in various individual stocks. If, however, there is more significant weakness, I will open short positions on weak stocks and continue to secure the existing long positions with stop loss adjustments.
In addition to the blog that is actively maintained here, my information portal Investment.Traders contains other exciting articles, detailed stock analyses, presentations of various investment opportunities and a weekly update in video form. This is my contribution to financial education in Germany.
