Trading Depot Overview - My experiences from the last trading week
Depot review
I have had a fairly structured trading week. However, there were hardly any trades because I was waiting for the end of the consolidation to position myself further in the short direction, which has not yet happened. Compared to the previous week, the portfolio performance decreased by 4.05% - always taking into account all existing book profits and losses.
Orders executed
At times there were almost no new trading positions opened last week. Only one long position on Brent was opened, but it ended in the red. I was also able to profit from closing the VW short position, whereas I incurred a loss with the short positions on the DAX, Dow Jones and Nasdaq100 indices. I also closed the long position on United Health Group close to the purchase price and was able to close a Brent long position from the previous week at a profit.
Planned approach
I will initially focus on various individual stocks in the small caps category. These include Mutares, 1&1, AXA, Deutsche Börse and Bayer. Gold is also in my sights with its new record high. In general, I am somewhat skeptical about the current rise and this could quickly change due to possible geopolitical conflicts. Nevertheless, I have to trade what I see, not what I think. I certainly take advantage of short-term opportunities across the markets.
In addition to the blog that is actively maintained here, my information portal Investment.Traders contains other exciting articles, detailed stock analyses, presentations of various investment opportunities and a weekly update in video form. This is my contribution to financial education in Germany.
